"LET It Go!"
That was the message from pupils at St Joseph's Catholic Primary, in Cleethorpes, for the in-house summer production of popular children's flick Frozen.
Many proud faces looked on as the pupils, fully dressed in costumes, recited lines from the film as well as singing their hearts out to their favourite songs from the film – including the massive Oscar-winning hit Let It Go.
Classes took it in turns to present sections of the now well-known story and youngsters narrated the plot – in addition to performing choreography to each song.
Kate Tuff, a Year 1 teacher, said: "We didn't do a big production at Christmas so we wanted to have a great summer send-off.
"We broke down the story and shared it between the year groups.
"All the pupils were so fabulous, they love Frozen, they chose it themselves and they all worked really hard."
Rehearsals began at the beginning of the summer term and it has been suggested that another significant summer production will follow next year.
Executive head teacher Sarah Pollard said: "I thought it was amazing, absolutely lovely; I think it worked well as a summer production as the children are more mature and confident – ready to learn lines. There's always so much going on at Christmas that I don't think we've missed out. It's been nice to have this production at the end of the school year."
