UPDATE: Crash injuries for three men on A46 now recovering in hospital

One of two men and a woman injured on the A46 at Caistor when a car collided with a horsebox, had suffered chest injuries, police revealed. The A46 at Caistor was closed for nearly five hours following the collision at 11am yesterday. One of the men who was in a Toyota Rav 4 was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with a fractured sternum. A man and a woman were taken to Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, with less serious injuries. The horsebox and a black 4x4 were involved in a collision at the crossroads where South Street and Whitegate Hill meet Caistor Bypass. The road remained closed while an oil spillage was cleaned up. East Midlands Ambulance Service took those involved to hospital. Keep checking for updates.
