TOMORROW (Friday) is the last chance for residents to enter the Immingham In Bloom competition. Next week, judges will be touring the town looking for the best of Immingham gardens and floral displays. Chairman of Immingham In Bloom, Stewart Swinburn, said he hoped as many residents as possible will enter the competition which has five categories. That will be a rehearsal for the visit by East Midlands In Bloom judges' visit on Wednesday, July 9. Experts will tour the town for almost three hours looking at Immingham in all its glory. They will visit The County Hotel, a chip shop on Margaret Street, the Civic Centre and the recycling centre on Queen's Road. Immingham is the only town in North East Lincolnshire to be chosen to take part in the Britain in Bloom competition when other judges will tour the town on August 8. Anyone wishing to enter the local In Bloom competition must leave their entries at The Neighbourhood office in the Civic Centre on Pelham Road, Immingham. Forms are available at the same location.
