Remembrance Day: Parades in Market Rasen and Caistor

THE Wolds towns of Market Rasen and Caistor remembered the fallen with parades, services and acts of remembrance on Sunday.

In Market Rasen the RPC Town Band led the parade from the market place to the war memorial, where the two minute silence was observed and wreaths laid.

Town Mayor Steve Bunney laid a wreath on behalf of the town and the town council, followed by other local organisations.

The Royal British Legion standard bearer in Caistor was Malcolm Wright, who formed part of the parade that made its way from the market place for the Service of Remembrance at the Methodist Chuch.

Wreath laying followed at the war memorial, where town Mayor John Burns-Salmond laid a wreath on behalf of the town and its council.
