A 16-YEAR OLD boy was arrested at the Freshney Place shopping centre last night (Thursday) for disrupting the late night shopping.
Shoppers reported a large group of children causing disturbance in Victoria Street and just outside the entrance to the shopping centre.
The children were seen shouting, screaming and running up and down the street.
A spokesman for Humberside Police said: "We attended Freshney Place Shopping Centre, Grimsby at 7.02pm on Thursday, after a number of young people were seen acting in a anti-social manner at the centre.
"A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress."
The boy was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
