A MAN was hit over the head and had his bicycle stolen whilst stopping due to slow puncture in Great Coates.
The man, who is in his 50s, was cycling along Station Road at around 5.15pm on Wednesday, November 20 when he stopped to repair a puncture.
As he put his bicycle pump back in his bag, a unknown person struck the man over his head causing him to fall to the floor and lose consciousness.
As he began to come round, the man saw the offender cycling away on his bicycle in the direction of the Willows estate.
The stolen bicycle is described as a silver hybrid MERIDE bicycle with stickers on the frame.
The offender is described as a man aged in his 20s and of a slim build.
Anyone who may have information in connection with the incident is asked to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting log 542 of 20 November.
