A MOTORIST was taken to hospital by air ambulance after a crash near Louth.
Lincolnshire Police said the man had serious injuries after his Ford Ka left Marsh Lane, South Cockerington and ended up in a field.
The air ambulance took the 28-year-old man to Hull Royal Infirmary at 8.30am.
The driver is from the Hogsthorpe area..
Police appealed for witnesses to the single vehicle crash which happened at around 7.30am.
The road remains closed and witnesses were urged to contact Lincolnshire Police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 70 of today.
