Heroes in the community across North East Lincolnshire have been celebrated at the first ever Grimsby Telegraph Community Awards tonight.
A packed Humber Royal Hotel played host the event which saw over 30 nominees from within the area representing 11 categories.
Pam Hodge, who launched the Rock Foundation charity in Grimsby, picked up the Services to Charity award as well as a special overall award for her sterling work over a number of years.
Pam said: "I am really shocked, I am completely overwhelmed and I have to say I was terrified and nervous beforehand.
"But it is really pleasing for me, but so many people are doing so many things for the same cause as me."
Look out for full coverage of the awards night in the Grimsby Telegraph on both Saturday and Sunday.
