The A16 between Grimsby and Louth was blocked for several hours at Utterby after a three-vehicle crash.
Lincolnshire Police said nobody has been seriously injured in the crash, which happened around 4.25pm.
Police said that the collision, at Utterby four miles north of Louth, had blocked the southbound carriageway of the road.
Recovery of the vehicles involved in the Utterby collision was scheduled for 5.30pm but the road was still blocked at 9pm.
