A partially-decapitated cat which was found in a garden area off Frederick Ward Way, Grimsby, this morning, had been hit by a car.
The body of the animal was discovered on land near Fair Deal Carpets.
The cat, a pet belonging to a lady in the area where it was found, was taken to a vet this afternoon and will be cremated later in the week.Follow us on Facebook and Twitter
