NEW figures for traffic crossing over the Humber Bridge show a 34,000 increase for August.
Figures from the week ending August 4, up to September 1, show 719,504 cars, motorcycles, vans and trucks made the crossing.
This compares with 685,185 motorists for the same four-week period last year.
Overall figures from April to September also show an increase from 2012 to 2013.
From the week ending April 8, 2012 to the week ending September, 9, 2012, a total of 2,881,063 motorists crossed the bridge.
This increased to 3,087,535, from April 7 to September 1 this year.
