TWO people have been charged in connection with burglaries at public houses in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
Clive Green, 36, of Ashleigh Court, Grimsby, was charged with receiving stolen goods in connection with incidents at: The Friary, in Victoria Street; The Trawl, in Yarborough Road, Grimsby; The Grosvenor, in Humberston; The Wellow, in Kings Road, Cleethorpes; The Hainton, in Weelsby Road, Grimsby; The Bradley, in Laceby Road, Grimsby; The Cricketers, in Littlefield Lane, Grimsby; the Littlefield Restaurant; the Linden Homes Club, in Clee Road; and Walters, in the Old Market Place, Grimsby.
He appeared before magistrates, pleaded guilty and was bailed to Grimsby Crown Court for sentencing.
Gary Robinson, 38, also from Grimsby, was charged with: Burglary at Walters, Old Market Place, on August 29, when cash, a purse, passport and bank cards were stolen; burglary at The Friary, on August 8, when cash was stolen; burglary at The Trawl, on June 29, when cash was stolen; and burglary at The Wellow, on June 24, when cash was stolen.
He asked for magistrates to take other offences into account and pleaded guilty to the offences.
He was remanded and will also be appearing at Grimsby Crown Court for sentencing.
