READING the weather has helped a group of schoolchildren build confidence.
Forecast Friends is a chance for local primary pupils to showcase their weather forecasting skills every week online at www.thisisgrimsby.co.uk
This week, pupils at Macaulay Primary Academy used their bright personalities to read out some pretty gloomy predictions.
Eight-year-olds Tommy Newton, Ralph Svendsen and Milenna Ludtke were excited at taking part.
Tommy said: "It was quite simple once I had plenty of practice and felt confident about what I was saying."
Ralph added: "It was fun to read out the weather but doing it has also made me more confident."
And Milenna said: "It was a great opportunity to have a go at being on camera."
Principal Julie Saunders said: "It was a good chance for them to practice performance skills."
