A man sustained minor facial injuries after he was assaulted in Grimsby on Sunday.
The 38-year-old man was walking alone close to Gala Bingo on Pasture Street when he heard somebody shout at him.
As he turned around, he saw a woman, who was known to him, walk towards him. It is alleged the woman then assaulted him causing slight injury to his face.
Police believe there may have been a number of people in the area at the time of the assault and are now appealing for anyone with information to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting crime reference 1945289.
