GRIMSBY Town's away match against Gateshead tonight has been called off due to a frozen pitch.
Officials had hoped the playing surface at the International Stadium would have recovered sufficiently following recent heavy rain and freezing temperatures.
However, the pitch was deemed unfit earlier today after the goalmouth at one end, together with several areas in the centre of the pitch, froze over during the night.
