One of Louth's oldest stores is taking part in filming for a new Channel 4 programme.

Victory Television is filming with staff at Eve & Ranshaw department store in Louth.

We reported earlier this week that former Dragons' Den star Hilary Devey would be filming in the town.

Although no further details have been released, it is understood the Eve & Ranshaw filming will be part of the entrepreneur's show.

Notices have been placed in the store advising customers filming is taking place and they could appear in the background.

The store is also advertising for an expert in social media for a new Eve & Ranshaw marketing initiative.

Filming is taking place in other areas of Louth and has already taken place at Louth Town Hall.

Andy Howlett, CEO of Louth Town Hall, said: "Private filming has taken place at Louth Town Hall with Hilary Devey. It is open knowledge that filming is now taking place at Eve and Ranshaw, although we do not know what the content for the filming is based on."

Eve and Ranshaw was established in 1781 when Adam Eve took over a woollen drapers shop at 1 Market Place, Louth.

The store is an independent family run operation, and is one of the oldest established shops in the county.

It sells ladies and men's fashion, lingerie, shows, accessories, some children's clothing, soft furnishings and has a cook shop.
