A car sustained "severe" fire damage after setting alight on the A16 near Louth last night.
Officers from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue services were called to the incident at 6.55pm, on the south of the town.
Fire crews from Alford and Louth attended the incident, which firefighters believe was caused by overheated brakes.
Two hose reels were needed to extinguish the fire, while two pieces of breathing apparatus were used to help the person(s) involved in the incident.
