Police are reminding residents to be vigilant to bogus callers after an elderly woman had an amount of money taken from her home in Willing Way.
The woman reported allowing access to her home a male caller, who had asked to use her toilet at around 8pm on Tuesday, September 23.
The woman was returning to her address and encountered the man on the approach to her door.
A short while after the man left the address on Willing Way, the woman noticed that an amount of money was missing from her purse.
The man can only be described by the victim as being white.
Police are appealing for information in connection with this incident and urging residents to exercise caution when allowing callers into their home.
