TETNEY teenager and former X Factor hopeful Ella Henderson is still the focus of the national media following her shock exit from the show.
The 16-year-old appeared on the front page of the Daily Mirror yesterday – a day after she was voted out of the hit ITV show.
Viewers of the long-running talent show took to social media to express their shock over the decision.
Even music mogul Simon Cowell tweeted: "Ella! Gone??? Unbelievable."
However, Ella was taking it all in her stride. She also took to Twitter yesterday ahead of a performance at London's Dorchester Hotel.
She said: "How are my little #EllasStars today?! Xx very excited for tonight to be singing as Ella again!! Red carpet at the Dorchester Hotel from 6pm."
Later she added: "Sound check at the Dorchester x revved up for tonight! #justthebeginning."
Previous X Factor contestants who have not won the competition have gone onto chart success including One Direction, who are now dubbed the world's biggest boy band, and JLS who have sold in the region of five-million records.
The Grimsby Telegraph will be speaking to Ella about her performance at the Dorchester Hotel and what the future holds for her in the coming days.
