A gust of wind forced the Canadian Lancaster to "momentarily" leave the runway at Humberside Airport this afternoon.
The Canadian bomber (Vera) was flying across Lincolnshire from its base at RAF Coningsby, where it will return tomorrow.
The official Twitter account for the Lancaster Bomber's tour said the wind forced the aircraft off the runway.
It read: "Vera encountered a gust of crosswind on landing causing aircraft to momentarily leave the runway. Quickly corrected and aircraft fine.
"The Canadian Lancaster will stay overnight at Humberside to allow brakes to cool and will return to Coningsby tomorrow for last 25 hour inspection."
This is not the first time the plane has encountered problems on its tour in the UK.
Problems with an engine forced the crew of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum aircraft to make an unscheduled landing at Durham Tees Valley Airport on Friday, August 29.
It meant that, not only was the plane unavailable to fulfil its obligations at the Bournemouth and Shoreham air shows, but the flypast at the 'three Lancasters' event at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Museum at East Kirkby near Horncastle on Tuesday, September 2 was also cancelled.
