A WOMAN was injured when the Toyota Yaris she was driving collided with a traffic light.
The crash happened at the junction of Freeman Street and Wellington Street, Grimsby, at about 7.30pm on Saturday.
The Yaris also collided with a Citroen Xsara.
East Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics treated the woman who had suffered only minor injuries.
Passerby James Leek, 71, a retired lorry driver, said: "I was walking along Wellington Street when I saw the car lose control when it was turning and then there was an almighty bang. It was a lady driver and there were others in the car, too, but luckily they were all right."
Humberside Police also attended a collision on Laceby Road, Grimsby, at about 2am on Sunday when a Ford Galaxy struck a lamppost.
The driver, who is in his mid-30s, was later arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Engineers were called to dismantle the toppled lamppost.
