SHE'S our diamond!
We all want Tetney's Ella Henderson to make it to the X Factor final and put the area on the map.
And the closer she gets to the finals in three weeks' time, the more likely it is that the TV cameras will follow her home for a visit.
And if that happens, jeweller Adrian Highley will be ready and waiting with a gem of a gift for the talented teen.
The director of Marcus Phillips Jewellers in Grimsby's Abbeygate says he would like to present "a diamond with a diamond".
He is a huge fan of the show and he has even managed to get tickets to the final.
He predicts Ella, James and Union J will be battling it out until the bitter end.
"Ella is a very talented girl and I want to support a local star by presenting her with a real diamond pendant and chain," he said.
"I'm sure she will go all the way to the final and it would be great for the town when she comes back home to perform.
"It would also be great for the town to be recognised with such a good voice."
And Stephen Stanley, from local promoters Solid Entertainments, hopes to be involved in any homecoming concerts organised for Ella.
"It's great what has happened to Ella because she has become a star overnight," he said.
"The old-fashioned way takes years of gigging at pubs and clubs to build up a reputation.
"She has excellent vocals and could be another Adele."
Ella's mum, Michelle, thinks her daughter is very lucky being offered such a warm welcome home.
"A gig in Grimsby would be excellent for all her friends, family and fans" she said.
"And being offered a diamond is an amazing gift.
"If she manages to get in the finals, then I'm sure the town would come alive with Ella performing – it would be nice to have some fantastic news from this area.
"She certainly has put Grimsby and Tetney on the map. And considering Tetney is such a small, and unknown village, it's great to see that its name is getting out there.
"We are all really proud of her, and last week's performance (Tinie Tempah's Written In The Stars) was one of my favourites."
Michelle said Ella met local soldier, Daniel Bacon, who has been serving in Afghanistan, at the live show last week to celebrate Remembrance Sunday.
"She had a lovely chat with Daniel and he really wanted to meet her because he's a big fan," she said.
"She also met Tinchy Stryder, and he told her she will go all the way and he was blown away by her Written In The Stars performance."
And the teenage star has had another exciting week – kicking off with a front page appearance on The Sun's Fabulous magazine.
The cover star had a full interview inside, where she told them: "I feel like I'm in somebody else's shoes, like it's not really happening to me.
"This time last year I would never have dreamed that I'd be where I am today. I was quiet, private and held myself back. "Now I'm happier than I've ever been before. I've grown so much in confidence.
"When I'm on stage performing, that's where I'm happiest and I feel this calm comes over me."
Meanwhile mum Michelle told the Telegraph how Ella and the other contestants went to Disneyland Paris for two days to celebrate the park's 20th Anniversary.
"She loved the trip, we went as a family when she was around two and four-years-old and said we would always go back, but never got the chance to," she added.
"She gets on with all of the contestants really well, and they are like one big family. It doesn't bother her being the only girl in the competition. She is used to being with boys because she has two big brothers, Patrick and Fraser.
"And I can confirm there isn't romance between Ella and George from Union J, they are just friends – the press ran photos of them holding hands, when they were as a group holding hands. They are all such a close bunch – and when Distrcit3 went it was like something was missing."
Ella is a huge Twilight fan and her mum said she was over the moon when she had the chance to go to the Twilight Breaking Dawn, Part Two premier on Wednesday.
"She absolutely loved it, and had such a fantastic time there," Michelle said.
Ella not only has fans here, but in Scotland too, as her uncles, aunties and 18 cousins live in Stirling and Oban.
"Everyone is Ella-mad in Oban – they have got banners up everywhere and the High Street is decked with 'Vote Ella' posters," she added.
"So there will hopefully be plenty of Scots voting for her! Ella's grandad, who she wrote a song about for her first audition, lived in Stirling and she wants to visit his grave soon."
