MORE than 50 talented members of the Lindsey Art Association will exhibit their art and crafts at an annual Autumn Exhibition.
There will be a selection of diverse paintings on display from animals to portraits, landscapes to flowers from Sunday, until Friday, November 30.
It will be held at Cleethorpes Library and most works are for sale, so it's a good time to buy a unique gift for friends and family or to treat yourself before Christmas.
Pam Doore, publicity officer of the art group, is selling her pastel picture of her cat called Pippa.
"It took me around five weeks to complete and even though I'm attached to this picture I've got to let it go otherwise my house will be full of them!" Pam said.
"My passion for art began in my mid 40s and I began evening classes at the Grimsby Institute.
"I have been a member of Lindsey Art Association for around three years and I enjoy it because of the friendship and support you gain. There is a great atmosphere and we meet every other Wednesday to share art ideas and advice."
Vic Toulson has been a member of the art group for five years and he will be exhibiting an Icelandic trawler water colour and a poppy field pastel.
"I was inspired by other members of the society to do an Icelandic trawler scene and I created the moon by going round a pound coin," he added.
"During semi-retirement I began art and began at Humberston library. And then I met someone from the Lindsey Art Association who got me into pencil drawing and it went from there. The standard of the work which will be shown is amazing and the art work ranges from animals to local landscapes."
Margaret Oxborough, from Waltham, has been a member of the art group for around 12 years and she will be selling her pastel called Winter Garden.
"I really enjoy the social side of the society and I get a real boost from exhibiting my work and especially when people buy it," she said.
"It's really satisfactory when someone likes your picture enough to buy it.
"I enjoy working with pastels because you can blend the colours and they are easy to use. However, I do enjoy using acrylics because they are really vibrant."
The exhibit takes place at Cleethorpes Library, Alexandra Road, and starts tomorrow. It is open weekdays 10am until 4.30pm, Saturdays 10am until 2.30pm and Sundays 11am until 3pm.
Entry is free and a raffle will be drawn on the last day of the exhibition.
