A POLICE appeal for information following a bizarre incident in Grimsby prompted huge activity on Facebook last night.
Police said a man dressed women's clothing was being sought by officers following an incident in a taxi at the end of June.
When the Grimsby Telegraph posted the appeal the Facebook site went viral, with over 10,000 users seeing the post.
Among them were a number of people posting pictures of their friends in 'drag' outfits, jokingly suggesting they might be the suspect.
