How far are you willing to go to ensure your kids have the latest toys?
That's the question we're posing to North East Lincolnshire parents tonight, following news a shortage of merchandise from Disney movie Frozen has led to bidding wars online and parents buying items for up to three times their retail price.
National reports have revealed that limited edition Elsa doll's worth £500 at Harrods are being offered at almost thee times that amount, with numerous auctions for the doll starting at over £1,000.
A set of both Elsa and Anna dolls are being sold for £2,899, and a set which includes two versions of each doll, a DVD and lithographs, is being sold for £5,831.
So parents, would you stump up vast amounts of cash to ensure your children don't miss out on the latest craze, or is it time for some good old fashioned realism and a lesson on the value of money?
