Police are looking to find the owners of stolen property, which was recovered following the arrest of a 30-year-old man in Grimsby.
Officers were called to Pelham Road shortly before 9pm on Wednesday after a member of the public reported seeing somebody with what he suspected was a stolen TV.
The man tried to detain the alleged thief but he cycled away with the TV on the handlebars of his bike.
While looking for this man, officers came across another man who they suspected of being involved in a burglary.
He was found to be in possession of 18 packets of Lambert and Butler cigarettes, a brand new Kindle Fire, a new WAHL men's grooming kit, two LG remote controls and a selection of power leads. The man was taken into custody and was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police would like to contact anyone living in the Pelham Road area who has had any of the above items stolen around the time the incident took place.
They are also keen to talk to anyone who saw the man on the bicycle.
Anyone who may be able to help identify if the items were stolen is asked to call 101 quoting log 663 of April 30, 2014.
