AS PART of the ongoing works in Grimsby town centre, contractors have started working overnight on the Frederick Ward Way traffic signal junction.
The work is expected to last for at least two weeks, according to North East Lincolnshire Council.
A spokesperson said: "These works will affect the route of the night-time bus services 9A/46 from 7.30pm until 6am each night until the works are complete.
"The route will be diverted from Victoria Street to Freeman Street and notices have been placed at the affected bus stops to explain the diversion. The services will revert back to their normal route along Victoria Street from 6am to 7.30pm each day.
"As the works progress in the Riverhead area, the bus station will close later this year and a set of temporary bus stops will be in place along Town Hall Street and East Street.
"However, there will be no change to where bus services stop and pick up along Osborne and Bethlehem Street. Passengers will be able to board and disembark at each bus stop as normal when the bus station closes.
"Further information will be available once the date of the bus station closure has been confirmed.
"To keep up with the changes to public transport services or to plan a journey, passengers can contact Traveline, a partnership of transport operators and local authorities, which includes North East Lincolnshire Council's regeneration partnership.
"It was formed to provide impartial and comprehensive information about public transport services."
