SHORELINE has made a real splash for Humberston Park Hydrotherapy Pool.
The housing partnership raised a staggering £8,000 for the cause, based at Grimsby's Humberston Park School, which was its chosen charity for 2012-2013.
Chairman of the trustees for the pool Brian Marsh says the efforts of the Shoreline staff and all who helped raise the money will make a big difference to the pool.
He said: "They have very kindly raised £8,208 for the pool.
"This money will help with maintenance and running costs.
"It is so important to keep the pool open for the young people to access.
"The staff have put in so much time and effort into helping raise money.
"They have shown themselves to be so keen and enthusiastic to the cause, and their enthusiasm will be transferred to our children by helping us keep the pool open.
"I think their help is just fantastic.
"Thank you to everyone who has helped raise this money."
Karen Rastall, chairperson of Shoreline Housing, said: "From our point of view, helping this organisation is really important.
"We are a local company and we want to help small local organisations and charities. We know how much difference the pool makes to the people who use it.
"We want to support the community and give back to the community.
"Here at Shoreline we are very proud and lucky to have such a caring and committed workforce who are so willing to help others.
"We held various events to raise the money, including the annual Shoreline ball.
"We had many little fun fundraising events in the offices as well.
"On top of our hard work, Barclays bank offered to match whatever we raised for the pool at the ball."
Shoreline employee Ann Maggs said: "As always we like to raise funds for worthwhile local charities that provide important services to individuals in the area.
"We're really proud that once again we have managed to raise such a fantastic amount.
"We would like to thank all our employees, their family and friends, as well as our partner agencies for their generous support."
Shoreline will be supporting the Cleethorpes RNLI for the 2013-2014 period.
