CLEETHORPES CC signed off from Chichester Road in style as they beat Driffield by 129 runs in their final Yorkshire League home match of the season.
Batting first, the Meggies posted a huge total of 268 for nine, young David Mansfield leading the way with 63.
Opener Indy Haye (54) and skipper Alex Osmond (44) also made telling contributions, before Cleethorpes bowled out the visitors for 159 in the second innings.
Ben Kohler-Cadmore resisted the home attack with 42, but Osmond followed up his batting efforts with five for 52 as the Meggies finished their task with almost 10 overs to spare.
Overseas quick Graham Hume also chipped in with four wickets – while Jordan Cook took a scalp with his only delivery of the game.
