District3 announce release date for new five-track EP

CLEETHORPES singer Micky Parsons – one third of X Factor pop group District 3 – has announced a release date for the band's EP. The five-track EP is the first release of material from the band, who recently came to Cleethorpes to perform at Micky's old schools. Out on iTunes on August 18, it's priced just £2.49. The tracks, two of which are labelled as having explicit lyrics, are called Let's Reload, What You Know About Me?, Hello, Dead To Me and Chasing Silhouettes (feat Bigz). There's also a booklet and a video download. Already, fans – who call themselves 3eeks – have been posting reviews. JaydeP said: "This is the boys' first EP and the songs and lyrics are so powerful! Proud :)" Amy said: "The boys have worked days and sometimes nights to get this EP. All they do is try to make their fans happy – and they really do. "They don't get enough credit for what they do." And lozzahd added: "The boys have worked so hard on this that they deserve to be extremely successful. "Not only are they unbelievably talented, but they're some of the most lovely boys I've ever met."
