TWO first-half goals from Ross Hannah and a late strike from Liam Hearn sealed a 3-0 victory for Grimsby Town against Brigg Town tonight.
The Mariners' latest pre-season friendly clash was delayed due to traffic congestion in the Brigg area following a series of road accidents on the M180.
When the match did kick-off, Town were quick out of the blocks with Hannah giving them an early lead. Another strike from the impressive frontman, together with Hearn's late clincher, sealed the win.
The Mariners are in action again on Saturday when they face Scunthorpe United in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup at Glanford Park.
