Grimsby and Louth have been placed on a longlist of 100 for a new book chronicling 'crap towns' in the UK.
Boston and Lincoln also feature on a list of towns and cities deemed the country's worst places to live. Further afield, towns and cities including Blackpool, Croydon, Luton, Hull and Slough have been selected.
The 100 is set to be trimmed down to 50 ahead of the release of Crap Towns Returns in October.
Before then, people are being invited by the book's authors to have their say on the shortlist and help keep their home town out of (or in) the final rundown. A statement on the publisher's website said: "Are you incandescent with rage and dispute your town's inclusion within this list? Good! Or perhaps you want to kick your town when it's down? Even better!
"Either reaction suits us. And now you can maybe influence whether or not the town makes the final cut. And have fun doing it."Do Grimsby and Louth deserve to make the list of 'crap towns'? Let us know your views below.
