GRIMSBY Town's Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Kidderminster Harriers have snapped up former Luton Town midfielder James Dance.
The 26-year-old, above, started out at Redditch United, where he played under Harriers assistant boss Gary Whild.
Dance went on to join Kettering Town in 2009 and made a name for himself at the Poppies, making 47 appearances and scoring eight goals.
That form did not go unnoticed and he was soon signed by Crawley Town who were managed by Steve Evans at the time.
However, he only featured sparingly as the Red Devils went on to seal promotion to the Football League.
A move to the Hatters followed in the summer, with Dance arriving at Kenilworth Road on a free transfer.
Whild told the club's official website: "James has a fantastic attitude and I can't speak highly enough of him in that regard.
"He'll be the first to admit he didn't play as much as he would have liked last season but I am sure that if he gets his head down and works hard to get back to his best then he'll be a real favourite with the Kidderminster fans and an asset to the team."
Dance spent the second half of last season on loan at Nuneaton Town and made 16 appearances, scoring two goals.
