DRUNKEN pensioner Joseph Gibson took advantage of a half-naked woman who was fast asleep in his home by snapping intimate photographs of her.
But he was caught out when the woman's son spotted the images on his mobile phone and challenged him about them, Grimsby Magistrates heard.
Gibson, 67, of Pelham Court, Pelham Road, Immingham, admitted a charge of voyeurism for sexual gratification on November 13.
The court heard that the woman went to Gibson's home after an earlier argument with her partner.
He had already been drinking before she arrived and the pair continued doing so, including downing some rum.
The woman decided to stay over at Gibson's home and went to bed in a separate room.
She fell asleep but, while she was slumped half-naked, Gibson went into the room and took pictures of her naked breasts with his mobile phone.
But he was found out after the woman's son happened to see Gibson's mobile phone and spotted pictures of his mother on it.
He confronted Gibson about the matter but the pensioner claimed he could not remember anything about the pictures because he had been drinking heavily.
He admitted, however, that it must have been him who took the pictures of the woman because he was the only person who was around at the time.
The police were later alerted.
Gary Bulbeck, mitigating, said Gibson was already intoxicated when the woman arrived at his home.
Gibson claimed not to remember taking the pictures of the woman because of the amount he had drunk.
Presiding magistrate Ray Dumbleton told Gibson: "No memory is not a good defence."
Gibson was given a three-year supervision order, including a sex offender treatment programme, and was ordered to pay £85 costs and a Government-imposed £60 victim's surcharge.
He was ordered to register as a sex offender for five years.
