CONSERVATIVE MPs Sir Peter Tapsell and Edward Leigh were among the mourners at Lady Thatcher's funeral in London today.
They were joined by more than 2,000 people, including the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, at the full ceremonial funeral for the former Prime Minister.
Former US Vice-President Dick Cheney and ex-Secretary of State Henry Kissinger were also be among the guests.
This morning Lady Thatcher's coffin travelled by hearse from the Palace of Westminster to the Church of St Clement Danes – the Central Church of the RAF – on the Strand.
It was then be transferred to a gun carriage and taken in procession to St Paul's Cathedral.
Lady Thatcher's body rested overnight in the Palace of Westminster's Chapel of St Mary Undercroft.
Yesterday afternoon the Dean of Westminster led a short service attended by members of the family, senior figures from both Houses of Parliament, and staff from Parliament and Downing Street who knew or worked closely with Lady Thatcher.
It came as politicians from across North East Lincolnshire spoke of their memories of the Iron Lady.
