POLICE are appealing for assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision at the Brereton Avenue junction with Lestrange Street, Cleethorpes.
At around 2.30pm on Thursday, April 11, a woman was driving a green Kia Rio from the direction of Grimsby, towards Cleethorpes along Brereton Avenue, when she stopped at a mini roundabout to give way to a learner driver.
As she stopped, her care was then hit from behind by a silver vehicle. The woman in the Kia drove a short distance and pulled over and the silver vehicle then drove away in the direction of Grimsby.
The woman was not injured in the incident but her vehicle sustained a number of scratches to the rear bumper.
The driver of the silver vehicle, who police are trying to locate, is described as a white female, with light hair, aged 30 to 40 years old and of a stocky build. She was wearing a light blue jacket and thin framed spectacles.
The woman and anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting log 548 of 11 April 2013.
