CLEETHORPES' Caped Poosader may still be yet to find himself a sidekick – but that's not put him off his mission to clean up the resort's streets.
As revealed in the Grimsby Telegraph, Mark Dunlavey, 39, is on a one-man crusade to rid the streets of dog mess and litter.
And, while he fears he may now be stuck with the nickname "Crapman" for life, he says it's worth it if others take up his call to make the area a better place to live – whatever the weather.
Unemployed Mark, of Fair View Avenue, said: "It's just something that I did, so all this excitement is really amusing me.
"Everyone I have spoken to about it has been really positive. It's great."
Telegraph readers have also been showing their support for his drive.

chrissy1230 Well done Mark. I do the same at the side of our house. There's a green that the council cut every now and again. I cut the grass and pick up the poop, whether it be dog, cat or fox poo (if people washed down the front pathways now and again it would help). I know people have the attitude "its not my responsability" but I think if we all did our bit it would be much tidier and may teach younger generations to be tidy from a very early age."
sociallysuper: Well done Mark, you have my praise in so many respects! If I was an employer and I saw this on your CV I would be more interested in meeting you than anyone else. Your attitude speaks volumes and I hope others learn from your example.
_garnet_ Nice one Mark .. If only everyone had this attitude
mike__oxlong: Well done that man. The streets around Davenport drive and Curzon Avenue are a disgrace. Bring your broom up this way it would be much appreciated. Every time we take the kids to school or to the shop we say we're going poo dodging. Keep up the good work!
AfricanMeggy: Why not give Mark Dunlavey a permanent job? His heart is in the right place and it wouldn't cost a bomb! We need more people like him and much less of the usual petty criminals that we more often read about in these pages. He restores my faith in the decency of ordinary folks.
Horace1956: Well done Mark, absolute credit to yourself and having the determination with positive drive to keep motivated. If only more people like yourself had a bit more pride and respect for their own community what a difference it would make to our town and neighbours that care. It's not until people like yourself who are genuinely trying to make a difference that people start to take notice and interest. I really do wish you the very best in your search for employment and the tenacity to not let things get on top of you. It only takes one person to make a difference and inspire others to do the same. Well done you, keep up the good work and something positive will arrive for you I am sure.
peteperkins: Give this guy a job teaching all those scum bags with community orders how to keep our streets clean.
