The 29-year-old looked set to be ruled out of the FA Trophy final on Sunday, March 24, after injuring his groin at Forest Green on Tuesday.
However, a scan has revealed that his injury isn't as bad as first feared.
The Scot will receive treatment from Town physio Dave Moore for a adductor tendon injury as he bids to make the final, and play his part in the Mariners' promotion push.
