Deputy Police and Crime commissioner Paul Robinson was among the first to step up and experience Grimsby's first Parkour Park.
He said it was great fun and was pleased the £10,000 investment from Humberside Police and £40,000 from Wren, the waste recycling fund and £7,000 from NELC had been put to good use and help reduce anti-social behaviour.
The new £57,000 facility at The Duke of York Gardens was officially opened by the Mayor of North East Lincolnshire, Councillor Mike Burton.
Scores of young people immediately jumped to it and demonstrated the stunts.
