CLEETHORPES Town may be the runaway leaders in Division Three, but resort rivals Cleethorpes United are also well placed.
United have games in hand over second-placed East Trans Pelham, with whom they shared a 2-2 draw.
Liam White and Ben Drinkall scored for Trans while Chris Harmer and Paul Horsefall replied for United.
Clee secretary Chris Emerson said: "We should have hammered them but they broke and scored early on and we were 2-1 down until late on in the game, when manager Neil Hope brought on brother Alfie to provide the pass from which Paul Horsefall scored.
He added: "Next weekend we take on Humberston Grosvenor who are in the bottom half of the table but they've won nearly as many games as we have.
"It is always a tight game against them but we've got to beat them.
"Steve Jewell can be quite a handful but we have the players to keep him quiet.
"If we have our full squad available we are strong and should not drop many points.
"We've got some proven goalscorers but we must not miss chances."
Elsewhere, AFC Nitro returned to form to beat Humberston Grosvenor 8-0 at King George playing fields.
Ten-men Humberston went down thanks to goals from Stuart Sadler (2), Louis Volley, Simon Munday, Steve Lidgard (2) Peter Thompson and Dan Borrel.
Bridge (Dave Coleman 2, Neil Farrow, Alex Hollamby) won 4-1 against The Cricketers (Scott Evans) while Cleethorpes Town beat Buddies II FC 3-0 and Deportivo Empire won 2-0 away at Keelby United.
In Division Four, leaders Wheatsheaf beat SK Smugglers AFC 3-1.
Sheaf's club captain, Dean Boon, said: "Going into the final few games of the season we can't afford any slip-ups, and with Smugglers down at the lower end of the league table we still knew that they'd want to come at us.
"Our next game is against Clee Community ESL, who are in second place and ten points behind us but have a game in hand – this is a must win game for both teams.
"Both sides will be well up for the game and it should prove to be an entertaining match.
"We have a full squad to select from with Stuart Inch, Neil Kirwin and Will Clifford really firing."
Meanwhile, Crows Nest 2nds dropped valuable points when they were beaten 7-0 by Blossom Way County (Gary Kilday 2, Ricky Gatrill 2, Matty Hamilton, Danny Neve, Daniel Simpson).
Tower Bucharest won 5-3 against Tap & Spile 2nds (Cash Downing, Shaun Martin, Paul Sweeting).
With Division Five leaders East Marsh Empire were without a game, Abatis Fire & Security had the chance to capitalise, but they went down 2-1 to RER Haulage.
Joseph Mitchell's strike was not enough to topple Haulage, for whom Simon Peck grabbed a brace.
Old Lloyds (Brett Williams 2, Lee Williams) beat Crows Nest 3rds (Gary Bartlett 2) 3-2 while Healing 2nds won 5-3 against AFC Waltham (Iain Ceclich, David Hine, Aaron Roberts).
Jonah Simmons scored four for Division Six leaders Spiders Web as they hammered Buddies II Athletic 8-0.
A brace from Jason Gerrard, Liam Staples, Gareth White completed the rout.
David Deane scored all six goals in their 6-1 victory over Honest Lawyer while Olivers Wine Bar won 3-0 against EAG FC.
