A GRIMSBY four-piece band is hitting the stage at a prestigious London venue where many famous faces started their careers.
Scarlett & Saffron, a melodic punk rock band are performing at The Brixton Jamm this February – where musicians like Pete Doherty, Adele and Florence And The Machine began their careers.
The talented band played last September at The Spider's Web and you can see the foursome before they head off to London at The Beachcomber gig, in Humberston, on Friday, February 1 – they are supporting the Finest Hour's single launch.
Scarlett & Saffron formed just shy of a year ago, with former solo singer/song writer Rob Boswell on guitar and vocals, Louis Kershaw on drums, Olly Croft on the bass and Jamie Parker on lead guitar.
The band played their debut performance with The Finest Hour last September, followed by a handful of out of town gigs including The Carpe Diem, in Leeds and The Fiddlers Elbow, in Camden.
The band are already building up a fan-base and are tipped to continue to build a cult following.
After taking a short break over Christmas and the new year, the band are set and ready for 2013.
