CAMPAIGNERS fighting to protect the Lincolnshire sausage have come to a compromise.
They have decided to apply to the government for protected geographical status for sausages made in the county under the label Traditional Lincolnshire Sausage.
As reported, last year, their appeal for protection under the title of just Lincolnshire Sausage was rejected.
