POLICE are taking control of the search for a missing 83-year-old woman, but have thanked the public for their help.
As reported, Marion – known as Mary – Scott went missing from her home in Acre Close, Market Rasen, on Thursday, December 27 – and has still not been found.
Volunteers from the public have helped search for Marion – who suffers from dementia, memory loss and can become easily confused.
However, police say the search will now be undertaken by professional search teams as she could have covered some distance.
Police also renewed the appeal for people to check all their sheds and outbuildings.
