A woman had her handbag stolen during an assault in Grimsby on Friday.
The 41-year-old had left her car and was walking towards a shop on Weelsby Street some time between 2pm and 3.30pm when she was attacked by an unknown man.
Following the assault, the man ran away towards Eleanor Street.
The woman was treated at Grimsby's Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital for bruising and swelling to her face.
The black suede handbag contained cash, a Nokia mobile telephone and a wedding ring.
The offender is described as a white male, of a slim build, around 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a black jacket.
