POLICE have named a 27-year-old missing man as Scott Ogden from Holton-le-Clay and are appealing for him or anyone who knows him to get in touch.
As reported, yesterday, Lincolnshire Police and Humber and Yarmouth Coastguard crews from Cleethorpes, Donna Nook and Mablethorpe searched for the man after his car was found in the Horseshoe Point area between Marshchapel and North Cotes.
He was last seen at 4am on Thursday morning and is described at 5ft 11in, with fair hair and glasses and was last seen wearing combat gear.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: "We have serious concerns about the missing man and there are ongoing searches in the area and we are making other inquiries into his background.
"If he reads this, could he please get in touch with police to let everyone know that he is ok.
"Equally, we would like to speak to any friends of his who can tell us anything about him that might help us establish any lines of inquiry."
