Tollbar Academy is set for further expansion to meet growing demand for student places.
The school has applied for planning permission to construct a first-floor extension above one of its existing buildings.
The extension will comprise nine first-storey classrooms, and office and storage space above the existing block five on the site.
A decision is due to be made by North East Lincolnshire Council planners by April 1.
