A man was talked back to safety by police officers after getting on the wrong side of the railings on the Humber Bridge.
As reported on www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk last night, the footpath was closed while police, firefighters and the ambulance service attended the incident.
Police were called at 4.51pm yesterday by a member of the public who was concerned for the safety of the man.
Officers attended and communicated with the man, while other emergency services were deployed to monitor the situation.
The man eventually agreed to return to a place of safety and was then placed in the care of appropriate support services.
