The rider of the Yamaha which crashed on a busy Grimsby road is improving today.
He is recovering in hospital after suffering injuries in the single vehicle crash.
It was at shortly before 2pm on Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby and involved a Yamaha 900 motorcycle.
The rider, a local man in his 50s, was treated at the scene by paramedics and later taken to Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital by ambulance.
Humberside Police closed the road and diverted traffic along Albion Street and Victor Street until the road was later re-opened.
Crash investigators appealed for anyone who saw what happened to contact Humberside Police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 302 of Saturday, January 17.
