The fizz went out of the romance between Grimsby customer services worker Jade Headland.
The 23-year-old had high expectations of her beau Chris from Tonbridge Wells in the hit series Take Me Out.
They visited a winery on the island of Fernandos.
But the sparkle just was not there.
Jade admitted that if it had been a normal date she would have made an excuse about having a headache and left.
Chris repeatedly referred to her being "ditzy."
But the audience knew it was her sour grapes that made the date fizzle out.
