A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash on Cleethorope Road, Grimsby.
Humberside Police closed the road between the Victor Street and Albion Street junctions in order for emergency services to respond.
The Yamaha rider, who has not been identified was taken to hospital by ambulance following the crash at shortly before 2pm yesterday.
An eye-witness said the rider had collided with one of the temporary road signs.
Traffic was diverted away from Cleethorpe Road along albion Street and Victor Street and Humber Street.
The road later reopened.
